Archive for 2008

So I am just about to unplug my computer and thought to make one last short post, to say that I will be without an ISP for a few days (weeks?).
Still a lot of things that needs to be done here, like cleaning and throwing out old stuff that I decided I won’t be needing any more.

Time for change and believe that now is the time.

So this is my last week here in my flat before I move my stuff over to my girlfriends place. So today I decided to to some laundry and pack some stuff that I will be moving later tonight. Biggest problem is that I can’t find a way to move my 220×150cm bed and a small couch (sofa). And this has to happen before the end of this week(!)

Tomorrow I will try to move some stuff over with a help of a collegue, but that wll only fit the “smaller” things like stereo, some boxes and so on. Luckily payday is coming up on wednesday, and that will surely help me out.

Mood: Distressed

Tomorrow is one of the biggest holidays here in Sweden, where we eat and get stupidly drunk. And of course the frog dancing, or Fågeldansen as we call it over here. But this year I will just take it easy and stay at home watching some new movies and such. But I made a new muxtape for this weekend though. Below is the track list.

# Week 25: Frog Dancing (9 songs, 31:16 minutes)

Ris Paul Ric - Daft Young Cannibals
Samtidigt Som - Constant in motion
XTC - Summer’s Cauldron
Erik Mongrain - Percusienfa
The Last Shadow Puppets - The Age Of The Understatement
Days - Motion
White Denim - All Truckers Roll
Loney, Dear - The City, The Airport
Boat Club - Nowhere
Champagne Riot - Before we wave goodbye

And here’s the infamous Fågelsången;

Since yesterday morning my internet connection is gone and I wont get a new one until I move in the end of the month, but luckily I hijacked some neighbors connection. Everything is really slow due to the low signal from “his” router, but at least I can read my mails and news until i get my own again. These are moments I can see that having my stuff “in the cloud” helps me out a lot. Thank you neighbor, who ever you are <3

Tomorrow I’ll be going to Stockholm and hopefully they’ll have some sun, because it started raining here today and I have one more shift at my job.

Just got home from work and the sun was eating my brains, when suddenly I stumbled upon the slogans each team has in Euro2008.

My two favorite ones are;

Russia: Russian hands are all for one! Russia’s proud of her sons!

France: Live together, celebrate together

And the the most cheesy one is in fact my own country’s;

Sweden: Sweden’s team, what a dream. (Sveriges gäng = full poäng)

Here’s the link to all of them, enjoy. And now it’s time for the latest episode of BSG and a siesta before this evenings matches.

Tomorrow is the day when Euro2008 kicks off, and it has been a long wait. At the same time me and my girlfriend will be going to Lund for a flat warming party, but I just recently noticed that Thieves Like Us will be playing live at Debaser here in Malmö, which I’ll surely miss out on.

Next week I’ll be traveling north to Stockholm to visit some old friends and hang out, but we’ll mostly follow the football games that weekend. It’ll be great to catch up on things and so on..

Today I signed up for Plurk to give it a shot, especially now when Twitter is down almost all the time. Can’t say much about it yet, but I added it to my “Elsewhere” links to the right.

Well, thats it for this time, so long.
