DISKAWA

As summer is getting closer my head starts to fill up with various old projects I’ve put on hold for a very long time. Right now I feel that some of them should be worked on, so I decided to gather all the data from all my old notes and bookmarks. Problem is that some of them are stored in some old moleskin’s which i can’t find, due to that I’ve been moving here and there the last year and a half.

There’s is a few web projects, photo projects and I think i will add a new one as well, but more on that later. Don’t want to spoil everything until it reaches some kind of milestones. A Project page will be added later on as well.

Also this personal space needs a face lift with more information, especially the About page, where I thought to add a brief story about me, but also a extended version of what I’ve been up to the last 15 years.

Dont expect everything to happen over night, this will surely take some time due to work and other things, but hopefully some of my projects will amuse you in the end.

Today I decided to move my existing Wordpress install back to the root of my domain, and at the same time I thought I would give Wordpress 2.5 RC1 a shot to see what it had to offer. So I started with cleaning up my whole database and space where I store my files, but before that I backed everything up in various ways just so that I wouldn’t loose anything.

So far I can say that I’m very impressed by the new features and changes, and everything seems to run smoother. Also the changes to the Admin area has been greatly improved, for example the Blogroll feature is now called Links, finally. But also Media file manager bit is very interesting as well.

Going to play around today and at the same time get everything back to normal, there’s still a few things I forgot to backup, but no big deal.

I’ve started a small project over at Dont Be Evil OK!, which is a small blog about things I go through day by day here in Malmö. Although the blog is more like a way to express my thoughts and ideas, but it’ll be in the Swedish language.. whine ftw! So the first one is about “the warnings“.

So since last weekend I’ve been working loads and eating less, and when I was spending my free time at home I’ve been checking these things out;

On Friday I was up all night spending time talking to a friend on MSN, sharing music/pictures and talking about life and such.. Listened to Kaki King which I found by watching the August Rush movie. Also got the new King Creosote album, which sounds a bit more mature, thats two great artists i one night.

Then on Sunday I watched Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait [Torrent], the Soundtrack was made by Mogwai, and apparently Kevin Shields was credited as “Noise Consultant” for the documentary film in 2005. Great movie of one of the best players. Allez Zizou!

Then Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday i worked, but somehow managed to squeeze in a few Jericho and Damages episodes, and lastly i just found out that Pivot has joined Warp Records. No Kids is a must to check out as well.

Thursday, had 3 cups of coffee and 2 apples and 1 pack of noodles to eat.

Felt really great!

Today is Friday and I’m going got work in a few hours.. then tonight I will try to see if i can finally get my gaming up and running, i still got GPU issues and it sucks donkey balls. Tonights try will be to hook up 2 pc’s to make 1 available to work. I’ll write a more detailed post about it later…

Okay, so after a long while, i will try to restart my blog again, but at this moment I just saw my buss pass my house, and I was supposed to be on it.. Late for work as usual!
